We have had questions from some of you regarding you or your parent’s hesitancy or denial of filling out this interactive workbook. One in particular stated “, I know my mother needs to fill out this book, but does not want to, what would you recommend in convincing her to fill it out”. An example that we would like to share is that, in order to take the pressure off of your mother or loved ones, would be to purchase the book and let them know that you purchased it for them and tell where you put it in their house. Hopefully this will take away some of those feelings and they may just pick it up and begin completing it, and if they do not, you can always remind them of the interactive workbook. We want this to be a comforting activity, that will provide you and them with the understanding that it is about their wishes and not something that you need to guess in the event something should happen to them medically. Take away as much pressure as you can and in due time, they will fill it out, or you can assist them in filling it out.
